Of which:• 38% of the companies that responded to the survey chose to invest more in technology that can give them an edge• 30% have chosen to modernize the core technology they offer• 19% to refocus the entire company around digital solutionsPossibilitiesBased on this, I deduce that customers prefer to do as much as possible from home and I consider this an opportunity. Grocery stores can e.g. partner up with local logistics companies and food producers to have goods shipped out to customers; this ensures that companies are able to keep their heads above water while providing the customer with excellent service and delicious food.Due to the risk of infecting people in the risk group, people who have family or friends admitted to institutions have had difficulty visiting their loved ones. Many have probably chosen not to visit them due to this risk and this is an opportunity to introduce video calls, so that you can "visit" your loved ones regardless of restrictions or not.The same goes for personal assistants. If it is not about people who are physically struggling to do things, this can be a good solution to keep people company or help them. Your psychologist appointment can be digital; this prevents both you and your psychologist from exposing yourself to the risk of infection.People have also had a lot of time on their hands and many are probably bored at home, so most people probably try to stay busy in some way. My city is one of the largest cities in the country and is considered the petrol capital, which means that there are many course centers (much of it related to the mentioned oil industry). Since the corona pandemic has ensured that it is not allowed to have large gatherings of people, it can be a good opportunity to offer home training through e.g. MS Teams or Zoom.I really appreciate any help.
