I co-own a really young SaaS company that's doing fairly well with around $25K ARR, which might not seem like a lot of money but we're based in Mexico so it's adequate for a startup our age. Anyhow, I don't like people knowing that I co-founded a startup. I don't know why, I guess I'm kind of ashamed of it, but for no reason at all. I mean, my startup is a marketing tool so it's not even taboo or anything. I guess there is a certain stigma that comes with being an entrepreneur that I don't want to be associated with. My co-founder usually tells people that I'm working with him because I have a reputation of being highly skilled in my area, but I tell him not to, and he still does it. It bugs me but it doesn't really bother me, so whatever. So far I've only told close family and close friends about my business, but my co-founder goes around telling everyone about it.Has anyone else experienced this? It feels really weird to be ashamed of something I'm so proud of. see hubwealthy.com/wealthy
