Hello, I'm the cofounder of mmenu.coReal Client Menus (for context):- I Like Food- Dough Daddy LA- LelandCouple of months back, I found that restaurants were struggling to shift their menu to QR to be covid compliant. Many restaurants poorly chose a online QR generator and tried to host the pdf somewhere which resulted in a poor experience and a headache for both the client and the restaurant (Especially when they need to update). My idea was simple, we create a very good menu builder out there, and it generates a QR code. The Builder would make it very easy to edit the menu and it reflects on the QR instantly. As a complimentary feature, I added below the QR Code a shortlink. I thought that maybe if someones camera is broken, then they can type a link in the browser to open the menu. Funny enough for the clients that we had this feature turned out to be much important than the entire QR thing.See QR is good and all for dining in, however we found out that the shortlink is being used by a lot of restaurants. Specifically on Instagram. Clients would put the shortlink in the bio section of their instagram account and get a lot of traction for it.So after that we focused on the shortlink. We thought that instead of an ugly one, we would make it more readable, and was very welcomed! We changed urls from gibberish, to something very user readable. (ex: mmenu.co/BjTO51z6IdSnlDSb6vWxO2swY0A2 -> mmenu.co/lacasadinner)So far numbers are good! Analytics shows a lot of QR scan and shortlink clicks. Having few clients makes this impressive!Problems We're facing:The problem we're facing today is mainly acquiring new clients. The Clients already using the tool are very happy and satisfied, however acquiring new clients is very very hard. I'm really not knowing how to make it reach to other restaurants. I tried Facebook and Instagram Ads, the results were poor because our target is restaurants and not users. All clients we acquired came from us DMing restaurants on Instagram, but it's a very exhausting process.Any idea how to reach more restaurants? We're developers so maybe we miss out on marketing strategies. Also you guys are welcome to test the product and give feedback! it's most welcomed!Thank you for the read! see hubwealthy.com/wealthy
