Long time lurker here.Intro: I have a pretty successful business. Grew out of my own work/labor. Added an admin part time. Then I started adding more income generating staff. Has a good margin on it.And it’s been working well since 2015. No trouble finding clients and increasing revenue. (Trouble finding good employees)Recently: Last fall. Problems started. Tons of admin issues that kept growing. Need to update to systems and processes. Errors were occurring in billing. Things were getting forgotten and lost. I was horrified.Only recently have I begun to see how bad things were.I have hired a friend of mine as business consultant and two 30 hour week employees. Each with different roles. We have also upgraded our tech and systems.Things are feeling better. But—- costs are through the roof. And I’m not doing much revenue generating because I’m so involved in solving all this admin messes. In fact I didn’t pay myself this month as we are running low on cash.Im worried I can’t increase revenue fast enough to support all this and pay me in the short to medium (?) term.Things are getting better. And stuff getting done. But none of this has yielded more income. It might soon.Am I doing this right? Is this just growing pains and to further success? Part of me feels I need to have faith in myself and plan. At the moment though— I have never felt worse about how the business is going. see hubwealthy.com/wealthy
