Hey Reddit :)I spent the last year working on an app with a lot of energy and passion. But now I realized that I made a big mistake.I heard that it is advised to build a community first and then the product. However, I foolishly believed that my product would be so awesome anyway that it would spread on its own. I was probably never so wrong with an assumption.I am very happy with the product and I am very motivated to continue working on it. However, the fact that after a post on ProductHunt I got just about 15 upvotes and only a handful of downloads demotivates me a bit.Online marketing and SocialMedia presence is incredibly important, especially for a new product. However, since I'm not privately active on SocialMedia platforms, I unfortunately have no understanding of how the world works there.I have created profiles for my app on the usual social media platforms, but I am currently overwhelmed by all the possibilities to advertise it.The app already helps me to increase productivity in my studies and I am convinced that the app can also help many others. My current plan is to focus only on Reddit for the time being and to build up a small community here.I would be very grateful for any tips or ideas! see hubwealthy.com/wealthy
