Copying successful business ideas/models for the local market

For example: Uber/Lyft don't operate where I live so a domestic copy-cat app sprung up and is now massively successful. Same thing with services like Doordash. Domestic version of that is hugely succesful.Essentially copying business ideas that have a proven track-record internationally seems feasible. Obviously the more niche you go the more the differences in customer needs based on location come into play and if the need isn't as ubiquitous as food delivery or transportation the risk of failure increases.Any interesting examples of this occurring in your own country? see hubwealthy.com/wealthy
