Hesitant of responsibility of owning a business

I was wondering if people could chime in on this. I'm in my mid 30s and sort of reconsidering all my life goals. One big goal of mine was to own a business. But I was recently on a date and the woman said she wouldn't want to own a business because she didn't want to be responsible for the livelihood of another person.
