We are a large independantly owned retail store in a small-ish town, about 30 employees. It's always been pretty easy to find enough quality candidates to fill any open positions but it's gotten so sparse in the last six months. We are running paid ads on Indeed and getting a few responses but it's a struggle. Obviously this is a problem everywhere. The grocery store down the block is offering a $500 signing bonus to new hires. (After 6 months of work and 1000 hours worked, so it's equivalent to $.50 an hour basically but it looks good on the sign) We are definitely open to offering that and also giving a bonus to current employees that refer candidates that we hire.Anyone have any other fun or interesting or non-traditional perks or incentives to attract new hires? see hubwealthy.com/wealthy
