Hello! This is my first post on this subreddit and was looking for any advice into how this idea could come to fruition quicker. Me and a small team are currently in the process of building the app and are looking for any advice/problems that we may have overlooked.Synopsis:Homeowners post a few pictures of a part of the house they want a repair/remodel/upgrade on along with a brief description of what the damage is/what the upgrade would be.Contractors can reach out through the app to give them an estimate on that repair/upgrade.Each contractor will have ratings/reviews on their profiles along with pictures of their work.It’s essentially Craigslist for home improvement, the contractor with the best reviews/offer will get the job.Contractors/companies pay a small monthly fee to use the app, but it’s free for homeowners.HomeAdvisor has an app that’s similar, however it’s missing the part where homeowners provide images and contractors reach out with their estimates. It only provides a list of contractors that might be able to do the job but doesn’t give a real time price point/allow for competition.To launch the app we could directly contact contractors and contracting companies and offer them a temporary free trial to have a base for incoming clients.Any critiques are welcome, thanks! see hubwealthy.com/wealthy
