How to deal with assholes outside of your time zone.

I have been breaking my back trying to get things moving hard and fast with a good company. The problem is that most of employees want to just live in their world.I spoke to someone three days ago about a kick off meeting in a few hours and he was to send over an agent a few days ago. It’s now Monday and he did not. This is my brother in law.Normally I would never say a thing about it. But this person literally only works freelance on off hours and weekends. He is very open about it.But he has been super flaky. Her has a PhD and is trying to managing this project… but it’s seriously a fail. For example, he told me that the project was due in two months. That was three months ago and we are about 5% into it. The requirement docs alone show a really bad picture.I was pulled into this in order to get it done. I’m really quite upset that I now have to deal with bullshit. If it happened in my time zone, I would probably respond differently. But I am getting messages in the middle of the night.Ok, that’s not abnormal for freelance work. But then he ghosted me for three weeks as now demands a meeting that i agreed to three days ago if he would give me a time and agenda. No reply.I know that he has personal things going on.
