
About a week ago I made a post about how we were having issues converting users to the paid plan for a freemium consumer SaaS/social app when we launched the premium plan a few weeks ago.I felt quite disappointed since, and have even seriously investigated a pivot that in my mind would have higher conversion.Today I checked my subscription dashboard, and lo-and-behold we acquired 4 subscribers in the past 3 days! It's not much, but it gives us some signal that we're potentially onto something that customers would pay for.Of course the uphill battle now is to retain those customers (and figure out what to do with my pivot), but the feeling you get when you see some traction for all the hard work you put in is absolutely incredible and totally worth the lows.Don't give up!
