Thought I'd share a little success story

So for the past 8 months, I've been developing a product with a co-collaborator. On Tuesday we launched on Kickstarter, and we got 340% funding in 48 hours! I'm absolutely stoked and just wanted to share this with someone and bask in it a little! This is the first time I've used Kickstarter. My first product I presold on my website - but there is something magical about their platform that makes people ’pledge’.Happy to field questions about getting funded on Kickstarter, and product development in general.Biggest learning: you must have an active audience already invested in what you are doing. The only way to achieve this is to consistently broadcast behind-the-scenes about what you are doing. It's a fine line to straddle between stroking your ego for the sake of it, and building an audience with the intention of leveraging them later on. Best of all, your audience can help you test your prototypes. When people are involved in the creation of something - they value it higher (The IKEA effect!) see hubwealthy.com/wealthy
