How many percentage ownership is fair to give to partners?

Have an idea for a company. I know three people who would be great to have on the team. I want one to be the sales guy, one to be main software developer and the other to be front end designer. I will be CEO, handle finances, administrative work, lead the project and also work as a developer, assisting on front and back end.I think it would be fair to offer them a partnership, but have no idea what percentages would be fair to give away. The thing is, I’m 10 years older than these guys, who are still in school, where I met them. Have build two successful businesses before (not million dollar enterprises, but more than just economically sustainable), but wanted to get into software so went back to school.I feel pretty confident as an entrepreneur, made tons of mistakes and learned a lot through my 10 years of building the before mentioned businesses. These guys seems like a perfect match because they have the skills needed to contribute, and we work well together as a team. But they have no entrepreneurial experience, or general business, or finance, understanding. So I’m thinking that I will need to have the majority ownership and function as ceo to protect the business from unnecessary rookie mistakes.Worked alone in my previous businesses, so don’t know how to go about this partnering issue.I will have a much greater responsibility, so my thinking is that I should get a bigger cut (the company being my idea and all also). On the other hand, I think it’s fair to make an agreement that profits are shared equally.Hope this makes sense :) see hubwealthy.com/wealthy
