Got a gig at a digital marketing startup doing cold emails and closing on the phone.

I made friends with the owner of a digital marketing agency and got some help and advice from him in some of my copywriting projects. We then had lunch one time and talked about business and future plans.He told me that he is constantly rushed because he has to do cold approaches and manage the agency all at once. I offered help in decreasing the load and he asked if I can help him with sales, and I said yes.I thought that since it’s a startup I can gain tons of valuable insight and practice in digital marketing. I’ve had many different ideas in terms of goals for my future.I’ve thought about gaining an executive position with him, since I have tons of ideas that can help his agency grow 10x. Since I have a background in engineering and management I can help him with more than just sales.I’ve also thought about starting my own agency with all the experience and knowledge gained from him.
