Okay, so I really need to improve my ability to speak in front of people. Now I'm not talking about public speaking. Getting up in front of 100 people and giving a speech doesn't seem to bother me, if I'm prepared, but cold calling? Small intimate social gatherings? I freeze up. There is no witty banter. No smooth conversation. Just low rumbling anxiety.I cannot stand at a potential customers door and cease up. It MUST be developed. If anything needs an overhaul its is my ability to communicate effectively. To build rapport. To create engaging interactions, lead conversations and inevitably make sales, or get customers.Can anyone recommend any books or ANYTHING that has helped build their confidence, and ultimately, their ability to create connections, develop relationships, and create customers. Maybe it's worth noting that I am NOT extroverted, or at least I havent been for a long time, but I'm ready to get out of my comfort zone, I'm ready to learn, I'm ready grow.Any and all help is appreciated!
