Does anyone know how to proceed a house cleaning service. I went ahead a pulled the trigger on an LLC. I have all the supplies I need right now, I bought a nice $700 vacuum. I'm advertising on yelp. I've been in operation for 2 weeks now and have done 5 jobs ranging from $150 to $250. I got the pricing on better homes. But I still have no idea how to price. I've YouTube'd, Googled, I called one competitor but chickened out when he said he doesn't do prices over the phone. And we have been sticking with that model also.It usually goes like this, show up, customer opens the door, walks around and show us what they need cleaned and then we do a guesstimate. We start at $25 per bedroom, bathroom, kitchen or so we thought. We were gonna charge one realtor $180 and she said we are under-charging and gave us $250 for the 3 hours. But that was considered a commercial clean. How does this look? Labor costs plus 20% for supplies, gas, overhead plus 40% for our mark up or profit. It is me and my wife and we like to make $20 an hour so we go $40 x 3 hours (or however many hours + 20% plus 40%Please don't kill me over this lol this is my first time being in business for myself. Any help will be greatly appreciated. see hubwealthy.com/wealthy
