Do I have to lie about my lifestyle to sell business courses?

So I’ve acquired a lot of information about business. I’ve been into e-commerce since I was 15, which is almost 10 years. There’s this woman on social media, Ashley Massengill, who sells “Digital Course Recipes” which is basically her taking the steps she learned from her credit repair company and applying it to any field. The courses are between $1k-$3k if I’m not mistaken. She recently put a list of people who are joining her course and it was about 150,000 people. Do the math.So she made around 1million in an hour. But the catch is that she promotes a very luxurious, rags-to-riches story that the urban demographic eats up. She talks about her humble beginnings as a post office worker growing up in the projects, and now posts EVERY little or big purchase she makes in an irrelevant story (a picture of her boyfriend looking for her Chanel earring and lots of emphasis put on CHANEL, or a long post and then a picture of a Bentley). Sometimes the designer items are fake, sometimes she recycles posts, and a lot of times it looks as though she shot the same content in different places on the same day.My thing is ...isn’t she making money off the people who desire her wealth? Would she still have clients if she didn’t flaunt this lifestyle around? Is it possible to indeed sell courses without the false pretense that I’m extremely richer than I am? see hubwealthy.com/wealthy
