Has anyone ever started an arcade before?

I have been seriously mulling it over with a few friends of mine to get one started up. I've done a lot of meetings with the city and looked at getting a business loan with a bank and found out there's a lot of homework that goes with it before they just hand me money. I worked on the spreadsheet and business plan a little bit and can't help but feel little overwhelmed.Pretty much I would love to hear any advice from anybody that has started a business like an arcade before and understands the whole processes from an idea to reality.
