How to go from idea to MVP!I wanted to share with others that this might be useful for. Especially if someone has been sitting on an idea for awhile but can’t seem to progress.This mainly pertains to tech startups, but can to others as well!I just launched my start up a couple weeks ago and we went from idea to mvp super fast. But it wasn’t my first idea. My other ideas I sat on for a long time or didn’t get to MVP.Here’s my tips/suggestions:1.) Be realistic with your idea. If you’re going to be solo-founder, like I am, you’re going to need to be realistic on what you can achieve. It’s possible to have an idea that you can’t build, and get someone to build it but it’s extremely hard. You can also learn to code. It’s always an option, but it takes minimum 6 months to be decent , a year or two to be proficient. If you have a CoFounder it helps tremendously.2.) Have an idea you can make. This ties on to #1. Have an idea that you’re able to build right now!! For me, it was websites and writing articles. So I was able to build my startup within a week once I came up with the idea. My last idea was a full fledged first responder app that I was WAY over my head on. I couldn’t get any developer to tag along and help me and I didn’t have the resources or capabilities to get it up and running. I highly recommend not paying for someone to build your app, it’s very expensive and may not come out how you want it.3.) Do not wait. Build & launch. There is no point in waiting once you have an idea. The whole point of a startup is to grow fast. Once you can build your startup , do it right away and then launch your MVP. Start marketing on social media for free, and get ready to launch on product hunt.4.) Grow. Once you’ve launched and start marketing your startup, continue to grow and stay committed. The biggest part is already done, you finally built something and launched! Is there a strong chance of failure? Yes!
