
Okay, so I'm VERY new to this. Starting a my own business has always been in the back of my mind, and likely the second highest reason I lost interest in 99% of the labor intensive jobs I've had in the past; I could be the boss.That being said, I work full time and uitting is not an option, for now. I've read a bunch of threads about starting landscaping companies, cleaning companies, or I businesses with low start up fees. However, a lot of the OPs in these threads also say they started doing the work themselves.If I start procuring work, my only availability is evenings every other week, and weekends. Also, some of these businesses, specifically cleaning, I'm not sure will take off if a man is showing up with a mop and bucket.My question is this. How has anyone who is successfully running a business gone about balancing the work/employee ratio? How do you move from having enough work for yourself to justify a PT employee to FT? The grow must be slow, no? Do you just slowly increase the current employees hours? What if they're like me and can only work the PT shift? How do you go about builiding the business, without leaving someone, be it potential customers, waiting for someone to do the work, or an employee, waiting for work, waiting around? see hubwealthy.com/wealthy
