Apologies for the 'other' tag, but I'm not sure what's appropriate.I am not a young entrepreneur. I wish I was. I wish I'd known as a kid what I know today. I'm 41 years old - I wish I'd known it two years ago. Or last year. Hindsight is, as they say, 20/20. Regardless, I would like to make it so that I'm not stuck in the work spiral in my old age.As noted, I am 41 years old. I am entering my first (full) year as a teacher (in the United States). I have a BA in philosophy with a minor in History. (I'd like to get a Master's degree, possibly even a PhD, but that's a bridge I can cross at some point in the future.) I've been on disability for the last ten years, and most of the money I wasn't spending on necessities - food, etc - I was giving to my financial advisor to put into the market for my future. I also put money into stocks on Robinhood now and again, as well as purchasing some cryptocurrency. About once a month I put 100USD into Groundfloor in the hopes of getting a decent RoI (or at least better than a savings account). I am starting to put together a Zazzle store, and I will be selling a large number of books and collectibles that I have gathered over the years (though I don't expect to make much). All of that said, I don't think that will be enough to get me to my goal. I'm looking at purchasing a duplex, either to live in or to rent both sides, but I don't exactly have a hundred grand lying around for a down payment (although I could probably work that problem out pretty quickly thanks to my stocks, etc). Ideally I would turn that one duplex into a few of them, so that ultimately everyone else is paying my mortgage, but I live in the Austin, Texas, area, and the housing costs around here are ... well, they're a little ridiculous right now. I'd be happy to buy elsewhere, but I have no idea where a good 'elsewhere' would be.I am also interested in creating an app (probably for Android, because I'm familiar with that system), but I dont have the expertise. That said, I dont have a problem learning. However, I dont know where to go to learn. If there is a free resource, that would be fantastic, but all the free resources I've found are for web development. (Does it make sense to develop a web app in this, the age of the cell phone?)Finally, I wouldn't mind starting a straight up brick-and-mortar business down the line. My preference is a gentleman's club (because sex sells), but I'm probably more equipped to start a school - overseas would be fantastic, especially if I can get together with a local.Thank you for your help in advance. see hubwealthy.com/wealthy
