I have been sharing a lot, but sharing my current and old ideas to help other. This one is for wild plants.A lot of people know there are valuable plants growing in the wild that can be found and picked by you, are even cultivated. The three main ones for me are Morel mushrooms - peek picking time is may. Value $40 a pound. Demand high. Gensing - consult local laws on seasons. Value $250-$350 a pound. Demand high Ramps (leeks) - pick all summer long. Value $2-$3 a pound. Demand moderate.Morels only grow a few months out of the year and rot in the ground quickly. February to June are good times. They like cool dark area with good water saturation and rotting vegetation. Like leaves.Gensing is usually found in higher, sunnier places. Generally on the east facing side of a hill. Especially near animal trails.Ramps can grow in the rockiest, driest dirt you can find and can be found anywhere. What people also dont realize is you can grow these yourself. Ramps and gensing can be grown in a basement with UV grow lights. Morels are trickier. But if you don't own a green house or a basement all you need is access to wooded areas. For the past 3 years I have been seeding areas with morels, gensing and ramp seeds and this year I decided it was time to harvest.I got over 100 pounds of mushrooms. Probably 1,000 pounds of ramps and it looks like in September I'll have about 200-300 pounds of gensing.Total cost? About $200 in seeds bought online. So if your into the long game I would try this. It's literally money while you sleep. see hubwealthy.com/wealthy
