Currently, in High School Junior year, I want to start my own business like my dad and mom both did both are very successful people and so that's also what I'm most excited and interested in. Still dont know exactly what however a restaurant sounds really appealing to me since I like to cook, but thats besides the point. What degree do you guys recommend me to take? I narrowed it down to Accounting or Finance, I'm starting to read some books like The Goal, Lean startup, and how to win friends and influence people so I can get a better understanding of what I want to do and pretty much improve myself before I go all out. (By the way I dont want to see any dont go to college comments because my mom is making me do it.)I personally am leaning towards Accounting more since it's a perhaps "safer" option, so if something happens in the future and I really need money I can get a decent job, relatively quickly too. However, I would like to hear other suggetions?
