Cofounder won't trust me because I'm not American

Just to give you some context.I've started our startup, then I brought him in. I was supposed to be the CEO and him the CTO.I brought the company to $10k MRR in 6 months selling to the US market with a 30% conversion rate (above average benchmark in my industry). This is not my first rodeo, I have 15 years of experience, including C-Level.Our relationship was good until a few weeks ago when he started to push back on any hire outside of the US. According to him, anyone outside of the US is kind of B-class. He also taken over sales (at least pitching to customers) and demanded me to take off the CEO badge. In a pretty condescending way too. While he hasn't admitted it, it's clearly because he doesn't trust my English skills. What hurts me the most is that I've served public companies in a sales management capacity and sold to the US / UK, smashing every single quota, before getting to the C-Suite at smaller startups.Sure, you can tell by how I write that I'm not a native. But this is affecting my self esteem quite a bit, and I don't know how to handle this.Besides that, it kind of affects the business too. His sales style is kinda bad - every single prospect he touches runs away because he's just too aggressive (he has never done sales before). And the team I'm afraid sees me like an idiot.Should I confront him? Should I perhaps split deals with him?15 years of career and this is the first time something like this happens. And it sucks. see hubwealthy.com/wealthy
