Cross-posting in hopes of getting different perspectives.Hi! Does anyone have any ideas of how to monetize a blog that is in the college/university niche (with posts like i.e. best MBA programs, best universities for X,Y,Z, how to prepare for college, etc.) - sites like topuniversities, savethestudent, princetonreview, etc.I recently had the chance of doing an interview for a similar site and was really intrigued when I went through it only to realize they don't have any ads, affiliate programs OR services offered. After spending more time than I should I only found a handful of tertiary education institutions actually mentioning they offer commissions for referrals , which got me even more intrigued. The aforementioned sites keep ranking on the first page on google for a bunch (a LOT) of keywords, which would mean a lot of manpower/backlinks are invested in those ventures, which only profit-driven sites do.Would really appreciate if anyone can shut down my curiosity with tips how those sites are monetized. Thanks for any inputs! :) see hubwealthy.com/wealthy
