[Feedback and Comments] Bringing DeFi to the next billion users - next gen checking account

Hi everyone,I recently quit my job at an investment banking firm to pursue founding my own startup. We are working on a project whose overarching aim is to bring DeFi to the next billion users. We know it's a nascent industry, but we think it's the future and we want to position ourselves to bring this technology to the masses.I've seen a few operators in this space, and undoubtedly it will keep growing. The way we want to differentiate ourselves is by cracking access to the masses. We don't want to be a crypto company bringing DeFi to the mainstream, we want to be a mainstream company that uses crypto to provide killer services.Our visionWe think your bank’s incentives should align with you. Near zero saving rates, high fees and high loan interest are all leaving consumers hard done by. But it doesn’t have to be this way. We believe there is a fundamentally better way to build a bank. A way where our incentives are aligned with yours. A way where you share in the upside. A way where you take control of your money. We are reinventing the way people think about spending, saving and earning rewards.What we are starting withWe are starting with an ultra high yield savings account, as this is where we believe the problem is most obviously felt. We handle all conversion of deposits to stablecoin (likely USDC) and partner with protocols (likely Compound) to provide the yield. It's still early stage so we are still deciding on the technical components and are instead focused on reaching our first customer.ThoughtWe purposely do not mention DeFi or Crypto on our site at all. We want this to be an educational journey that helps lead people to understand why our product is better than traditional alternatives without putting them off. We've generally found that most people are extremely nervous when they here crypto/defi.FeedbackWe'd love to know what you think of our approach. Specifically what types of users do you think are most suited to be early adopters? We have our hunches but would love some unbiased feedback.
