
Hey guys so my family bought a 1 year old smoothie store yesterday, today was the first day under our ownership and it was all going well up until the evening. We had 2 employees working with my brother and mom at the store too, all of a sudden the employees walk out and they told us that the manager told them to just get up and quit?As of now we only have 1 employee wanting to work out of the team of over 15 employees we had just this morning. Has anyone experienced something like this? I’m not actively helping in this family business since I got a full time job out of state recently but this has left me frustrated as the manager made no attempt to communicate with us as new owners about any complications or issues that may have been ongoing under previous ownership.We are located in Ohio and this smoothie store is part of a franchise, do you know if they can be any help to us in any way?I want to try and help my family as much as I can but I don’t know much about business/entrepreneurship and I live far away :/(new to this sub I read the rules and think I abide by them pls tell me if I did something wrong) see hubwealthy.com/wealthy
