My company sells caterpillar kits and adult butterflies. Each spring we do a pre order sale for the kits to raise money for inventory and build hype for our Spring launch April 1st. Before today our best sales day was $2743 from a year ago today. With a few hours to spare we just topped $3K, on the first day of the sale. We promoted on our Instagram, we were featured on local TV, and Asked our friends to post as well. $0 paid in marketing costs.
