As some of you may remember, I made this post last month here that detailed what I thought was an overcharge on my website ($5000) from a large, established company. About 60% of the responses said that it was a good website, 25% said it was meh, and 15% actually agreed with me that it was an awful job.The general consensus was that I definitely needed a copy-writer, and a better organized layout. The purpose of my post was to find a Redditor that could help me out for under $1500 to re-vamp my website.I kept true to my word and actually hired two Redditors to help me out. One for the copywrite, and one for the layout and design. And, I must say, I believe I received a way better value than the 5K I spent for the corporate web designer (who I actually "bargained down" from 10K).Unlike the corporate designer, both these Redditors downloaded my beta, asked me a lot of questions about the app, and went out of their way to exceed my expectations. Both were super-helpful and appreciative. Both in total cost me a little over $2000 vs. the $5000 I spent, and the $10,000 the company wanted me to spend. Here is the website: https://ift.tt/O9IUfRa website designer was Redditor: u/ef02The copywriter is Redditor: u/asd99asdasdI chose these two out of 30+ applicants just because they seemed to just be very nice and enthusiastic. They are both just getting started out of school, so I figured I'd give them both a shot based on their limited portfolios. In my experience this type of work can be hit or miss, but regardless I know they both gave their best efforts.I just wanted to share my experience in actually hiring a fellow Redditor to do work for you. I paid everything through Upwork. see hubwealthy.com/wealthy
