I have a software dev position at a medium-sized company. They pay me well and the perks are fine. My co-workers are smart and the tech stack is amazing. It's everything I ever wanted.For a few months now a friend of mine has been insisting that I join his startup full time. I have decided that I want to make the plunge but I don't know how to quit with my current company. I've only been with them for 7 months and during the hiring process they stated they were looking for a long-term commitment. I feel guilty telling my employer the truth.
