How can I get an idea off the ground though collaboration?

Right now I have no business experience. I have a business idea about something I'd use as a consumer. I don't have the ability to completely start the business from scratch. What I'd like to do is work with someone who has the ability to execute the idea, and I would do a limited number of hours of work that I am able to do to help make it happen.I would want to have a percentage of the profits, and I'd also want the business to maintain a high quality of service/follow certain standards.Is this a thing that could realistically happen?
