It's my 36th birthday, and today I should've become a digital nomad.

For 15 years, I've been doing business (primarily) online.I've experienced many failures but also many wins.I've often felt invincible, but also, there were moments when I've felt broken.I always analyze everything to get the most of it, and now I want to share some of my findings. It looked like a long hike, where successes were energy bars, while failures and mental fatigue were added weight to the backpack. The energy bars will take you only this far, but eventually, your backpack will be too heavy to carry.I've launched over 50 projects in my unhealthy race to grow, learn, be better. And I'd like to share a summary of what I've learned so far. There is a limit. There is a limit to how much you can take, digest, survive. You can feel those limits and break through them. This creates a false assumption that you can increase those limits. To some extent, this is true. I semi-believed that. I knew that there was a ceiling I'd hit somewhere down the road and that it'd be ugly. But then again, there was always a bit more work to be done, one more milestone to achieve. In the last 15 years, I've got 4 professions - each to expert level.15 or even 10 years ago, I would be delighted and proud to hear that. But now?Well, it's cool, and I'll never complain about the job offers, but the weight of this achievement - well, it might not be worth it, really.Happiness is simplicity, and it isn't easy to be simple when you see and understand too much. This might sound like some bragging, but actually, it's a serious issue, and I know many business owners will relate to it.Knowledge is usually not associated with happiness.I remember talking with this taxi driver about the two kids he had. One, he said, was a successful business person - making great money, continually improving. The second was a seller at the market."Guess who was happy? The second one, because she can enjoy the moment. She appreciates little successes. And money, well that can be a problem, but nothing major."To remain sane, you need a hobby. As a guy with experience in getting hit hard by reality, let me give you this advice:Small things that give you happiness - they are not silly - they are connectors with the inner self, relief points for you.If you like to listen and observe birds, maybe consider getting a pair of binoculars and giving yourself once every two weeks a few hours off so that you can go to the ornithological park? The calmness will help you to relax and reassess!Do you have too much explosive energy in yourself? Have you tried shooting with a bow? It's relaxing and explosive at the same time! And here I am.Today I'm becoming a digital nomad. I had tickets for today to leave for Tenerife, but because of my responsibility as a Polish, as a husband, I want to stay put for a moment to assess the situation. It's surreal, but then again, nothing is certain recently. Leaving your country that borders the warzone is complicated - you need to be ready for the worse these days. But hey - it's my birthday today - my wish is to pretend like I left today, not in a few weeks :)I love that I can work with customers that I treat like friends. My one-person company is working in a very specific niche - marketing management for tech founders.I like it (since I am a marketer and developer - I can connect both worlds), improving businesses and seeing them grow is a unique feeling. Assessing, reviewing, improving - well, that's my thing. No, no links to my service here :)Just sharing my thoughts. Rambling of birthday guy ;)So my summary of the last 15 years? You are invincible.Until you aren't.You are weak.Until you aren't.You are useless.Until you aren't.You are happy.Until you aren't.Know your limits, know your needs, know yourself.Do business, get money, but also get hobbies, get to know yourself. And most importantly - know when to quit. Don't lose yourself in a spiral of self-induced pain.If you cannot understand why you've exploded or haven't said anything when someone else exploded, how can you run a viable and growing business? Find out who you are. Don't be afraid to try to understand your actions.Good fortune to all of you.Thank you for reading this. It means a lot to me.Have a great weekend! see hubwealthy.com/wealthy
