Feedback on pre-launch website/landing page

Hey yall, my company is in the prototyping phases of a fishing product and we plan to launch a kickstarter later this summer. I'm working on building out our pre-launch email campaign and am looking for advice on call to action language to capture emails from website visitors. We currently have a simple landing page with an email sign up box. We don't have much to offer except 'be the first to hear about our kickstarter launch' and some promise of early bird pricing so I'm wondering if that's basically all I can do tactic wise right now or if there's better phrasing to use for pages like these?www.keeprgear.com see hubwealthy.com/wealthy
