I run a small business and was interested in buying some wholesale products so that they can be customized and resold on my site store. Typically I buy from amazon but I wanted to get a better price by cutting out the middle man and buying bulk.I am having a hell of a time though. Looking at some of their catalogs or alibaba, the prices seem to be similar to whats on amazon, but with a minimum purchase and pricey shipping. Not to mention they all seem to be using each others pictures so its become hard for me to know if they are factory direct.There are a few wholesalers in my field, all Chinese manufacturers, and the communication factor is rough. (Questions going unanswered, wont get to the point etc.) I’ve studied cultural anthropology so I’m no stranger to the cultural difference aspect, but I sometimes wonder if I’m completely missing something in this process.
