Started a business with a friend, now I don't know how to proceed.

I don´t exactly don´t know where to post this. Long story short. I started a business with a friend. He got us the first client (our biggest client now). Our business is a metal fabrication shop. He has a full time job, he only helps me 2-3 hours every 2 to 3 days. I do almost everything related to fabrication (cutting, welding, grinding, painting, etc), I also am the one who makes the invoices and fills taxes, etc.We currently split our profits 50-50, and I feel that´s right because he was the one who got the client who pays very well for all the jobs they ask us to do. But what I´m asking you guys, how should we split profits when we get another big client? supposing I'm the one who gets it.My partner doesn´t look so motivated to get another client. Probably I'll be the one who gets the next second biggest and third biggest client. Should we still split profits 50-50?We split the costs 50-50 (warehouse rent, machinery, etc)Thank you in advance guys. see hubwealthy.com/wealthy
