How do I manufacture a bag locally

I was searching online recently to purchase a bag specific to a certain niche but couldn’t find any that fulfilled all my needs. I am now thinking of creating a small business around these bags because I know numerous other people besides my self that would love to own one. I have a background in graphic design and have colleagues fluent in product design that could create a 3D mode for me etc. My only challenge is getting the product from the design stage to being manufactured, preferably at a local manufacturer.
