Follow Up Post (How come I have so much drive and a crazy work ethic in a job but for myself, I struggle to do anything?)

So, last week I posted this thread and it seems like it resonated with a lot of people.u/meg_ashley challenged me to come back on here in a week with a little progress report so I'm back to take her up on that challenge. This video by struthless on how he set his 2021 goals has helped me tons: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6bz6y4SYPbI&t=206s. Probably one of the clearest videos on goal setting I've ever seen so just sharing in case it helps anyone get clear on how to spend the rest of their year.I now have 5 very clear goals for the year around my education, fitness, business & creativity. One of the things I love doing is writing now have a goal of having my own blog/website & being a contributor to a local magazine/newspaper. I obviously don't expect to be raking in a lot of cash from but more so as a side hustle, small income stream (if any) and using it to build credibility and visibility for other, more lucrative opportunities. Thanks so much to the people who responded thoughtfully and gave good advice. Some super helpful books that got recommended in that thread:Tiny Habits - BJ FoggThe Four Tendencies-Gretchen RubinAtomic Habits- James Clear (listened to this audio-book before but re-reading to internalize)The most helpful book of all for me was Running on Empty: Overcome Your Childhood Emotional Neglect by Christine Musello and Jonice Webb. I'm about 53% through with it and resonate with basically everything in it. I knew my issue was deeper than just mere procrastination or confusion and this book is helping me get to the root of that.So Wrote a post on Reddit and accidentally found out I suffered from childhood emotional neglect lmao random but thanks a mil u/simplism4 see hubwealthy.com/wealthy
