I applied as a transfer student for the computer science program at UCI, UCR, UCSD, and Cal Poly Pomona. Just got my letter for cal poly pomona and I was rejected. I have a 3.5 gpa and considering cal poly rejected me my chances at uci and ucsd are really low. the only thing I could see myself possibly getting into is UCR. But even that is probably a really low chance so most likely got rejected to everything I applied for. So i'm not sure what to do now. Cant apply again until next spring semester and im done with all my gen eds and major pre reqs. So what do i do for the next year almost. I obviously feel down and demotivated but I sitting and crying won't help. Im trying to be positive and view it more as an opportunity now that I have a year of free time. There is a lot I can get done in a year. But my question is what? I am working part time right now and almost done with my lower division cc classes, I just have 1 class left take. After that is done I will have months and months of free time. How do I take advantage of that? see hubwealthy.com/wealthy
