Hey everyone!I've been working the past few months as an executive assistant and the only office worker for a transportation and construction company. I had a lot of duties. Creating invoices, data entry, writing emails, drafting documents, filling out forms digitally, collecting bills of lading and acquiring signatures for them, managing hours and entering payroll, onboarding and termination of employees, reminding the president and owner of the company about things, depositing checks, monitoring the bank account, and a bunch of other things that I can't be bothered to remember and write out. Just know I did a little bit of everything and a whole lot of a few things.I made a post earlier today that I've since deleted. I asked for advice regarding a pay cut I got and everyone told me I was seriously underpaid. I kind of agree in retrospect and want to explore the option of becoming a free lance solo act.I guess what I'm asking is what is my value? What would you pay weekly to have someone on call for your company who you could call or text and ask them to do any of those things I listed(this is my ideal situation, to have 3-5 companies hitting me up to do odd virtual jobs for them and be on retainer from all of them)? What would you pay to have those things done as one off jobs such as on fiverr. I was excited when I heard I was underpaid, but when I looked into fiverr I saw people with my skills offering services for between $5 and $15. While $15 to draft a document isn't bad, the inconsistency and challenges that come along with doing one off jobs is a rough tradeoff, and I'd need to draft 53 documents to make what I was making at the height of my payHow would you recommend I go about finding work? What kind of legal shit do I have to deal with as a free lancer? Is it as simple as cashing a check? I'm confident in my skills, but I don't know much at all about being self employed. Any advice would be great. I really don't know what I don't know here. I understand I may not have provided enough information to get a satisfactory answer, but I'm more than happy to answer any questions. And hell, if you need a virtual assistant, my DMs are open see hubwealthy.com/wealthy
