Hopefully, this type of post is allowed, if not ill remove it instantly.I am an ex business owner, forced into retirement due to disability, i now collect disability because of that and decided i would use it to build an animal shelter. Decided Mexico would be the best option and settled on Rosarito which is near the San Diego border. Already bought the land and am talking with an architect, when i have some autocad plans i intent to create fundraisers but i wanted to wait until i had them so donors know we are serious. Unfortunately, my disability has affected my mind so i have lost quite a bit of intelligence and i struggle, so im not exactly sure which type of help our non profit would need at the moment but i do know we need or will need help.I posted 2 positions on a freelancer site: A fundraising consultant and a non profit advisor to help us find board members, figured it would be worth it to hire for those rather than getting it pro bono/ volunteer based.I have posted in local expat groups in my area and lots of people expressed interest in helping but not many actually follow through, even had a lawyer that was helping us register and it took 3 mth to file the articles of incorporation and constant reminders on my part, never complained since it was free but just decided to hire a non profit specialist since getting 501c3 would be important to have sooner than later.Anyways i mentioned that just in case people are INTERESTED in helping but dont actually want to or have the time.Its a unique animal shelter/ hostel project with a community garden and some more details are found on our page. https://ift.tt/2NQzPil the post is allowed and remains please let me know if your interested in helping.
