How do you find and build relationships with strategic acquirers?

For the first time, I had a guy reach out with an offer to buy my business. I'm not ready to sell yet, but I do eventually want to go this route, so I'm planning to build a relationship with this guy and keep in touch.In the meantime, I'd like to have several similar relationships with strategic acquirers so I can potentially leverage multiple offers. Do any of you have experience or tips for finding and networking with strategics?This first guy ran across us online and reached out, but our space is small enough that I'm sure I could meet some others like him.
