Failure is part of the process, so what businesses have you tried before the one you're on now and what was their relative success? I'll go first

I'll start with some goofs from my youth4th grade: put advertisements in my classmates cubbies for making my cool folded paper stuff. Got in trouble 0/10Middle school: sold "happy pills" that were basically yellow vitamins with happy faces on them that I got from a nutrition shop at a 1000% markup. Very sketchy to do at school 4/10High school: small engine repair business but I didn't know how to price out jobs before I went to do them 2/10As an adultMobile mechanic business: I had far more experience at this point, but the repairs required quickly got far too complicated for my clienteles budgets 3/10Interior remodeling: after years of experience in this before I started my own business I actually did very well. My pipeline filled up quickly with high quality reffered clients and I earned a good reputation for having very high quality work. After a couple years I started getting into multi million dollar homes with contracts in the 10s of thousands for labor alone. I struggled with getting quality help, struggled with timelines of other contractors work, and ultimately found out the hard way that wealthy people don't spend money because they are wealthy. In fact quite the opposite. Wealthy people are wealthy because they make sure they get the best value for their dollar every time. I got frustrated with the fact I felt more like a blue collar laborer than a business owner and decided to move on. 7/10Currently I manufacturer wood hot tubs and am loving it. There are quite a few supply line challenges, and the hot tub market can be fickle, but it's something I'm enjoying and am very proud of. 7/10I have many ideas I'd like to go for in the future that are going to require more capital and probably some more experience. The journey is hard but I think it helps to know that many entrepreneurs success story is not their first story.TL;DR Tried lots of things from little to modest success, and still don't really know what I'm doing. see hubwealthy.com/wealthy
