Business Salvage Yard

Many of us have learned the hard way why you should validate your idea before building it.Many of us spent a lot of time and money building out our ideas that for whatever reason now sit collecting dust that we have all but abandoned. Complete waste. This goes for inventions as well. I’m in that field and see it constantly. Now, it doesn’t make sense to list it on sites like MicroAquire because a business’s value is generally based on the revenue. In which, I’m talking about our failed attempts that don’t make revenue. For what you might get for it, it’s not even worth it to bother listing it.But that’s not to say there is zero value in the structure you may have built. Just people looking to buy a turnkey profitable business are not the target market. You may have developed something that someone else could use to get a head start on their idea, or someone else sees promise in replacing the subject matter. As an example, maybe you built a Beanie-Babies trading platform. You thought it would be the next Ebay and were sure of it. But alas, that didn’t work out. Well, someone might want to build a Nike shoe trading platform or something. Your Beanie-Babies trading platform might be worthless as a business, but to Mr. Nike Shoe trading platform, that could save them a ton of time and money. Or say someone is a professional Beanie-Babies broker and knows they can bring big time clients to your platform as is and would want to partner. Or some other scenario. Maybe they would be willing to pay you a little more cash for it? Or give you equity in whatever they do with it. Or maybe they are impressed with your skill in developing and want to partner with you on another project.I know it’s a long shot, but the alternative is to let all your hard work die a fiery death. What I am thinking is simply a Reddit group that all you do is post what you might have built to see if anyone else is interested in it for whatever reason. Not here because that would be spamming, and also not the target market. You could chose if you want to disclose the actual URL in the post or not, or just opt to describe it and if anyone is interested, you can DM them the URL.So my poll: If this Reddit group existed, would you post one or more of your failed attempts?View Poll see hubwealthy.com/wealthy
