I’m having analysis paralysis.Currently, I teach online private English classes. I love what I do, but it’s not scalable. I’m selling hours of my time (and lesson planning of course), and already charging a bit above average, so there’s only so much further I can take it. Anytime I want to go on vacation I can’t teach, and my students have to wait for me to come back. I’d really like to have a business instead of just a job.I’ve thought of starting an online school and hiring teachers. One thing I worry about though is handling all the logistics (scheduling, cancelations, etc.) and also if there’s really room to make profit there after I pay everyone and so on. I don’t want to have to be glued to my email in case there’s a problem, but at the beginning it seems like it would be too difficult to hire someone to do this for me, although maybe I’m wrong. The other option would be to sell recorded courses to students or to sell lesson material to other teachers. There is demand for both, but it’s also competitive. On the other hand, it seems like it would give me more control of my time, and if I wanted to take time off I could and just check a few non-urgent emails here or there. What would you do? see hubwealthy.com/wealthy
