Hello, everyoneI am looking to open a e commerce business or actual business to sell items online through Amazon and such. My friend told me that Amazon requires business license and information to do B2C option. He recommended me LegalZoom service to do it for me but the cost is whooping $400! He also told me that I can do it on my own for cheaper, but I don't know how since this is my first time doing this.What do I need to open a business to sell online and how to do it?Do I need to hire a lawyer?Do I need to hire someone to do my taxes if I open business then sell items on Amazon? Do Amazon send me the tax information?Do I get tax if I just open my business and don't do any transaction at all?Since this is my first time doing this, do I open my business as LLC or sole proprietor? I will be doing this on my own with no partner.Do I use my parents home address for filing business address location? Can I just rent out PO box at UPS then use that as my business address location?
