Recently I told one of my clients I was looking to get investors on board.I wasn’t even pitching him but I told him I was looking to raise 200k soon. My client said he’d come on board for the whole amount. He’s pretty serious as he’s flying his business partner in (his brother) to meet me and talk about equity and work a deal.Right now I own 100% of the business and fill every role. Ive put in around $80k of my own cash and have about $10k left in reserve. ($40k was spent on the development in the beginning)I wanna hear ppls advise on this and would love any feed back. The business is Sales SAAS, been up and running for 4months.Not yet profitable as I’d say I’m still in MVP stage but have had good early success. The Brothers are looking for around 30-40% or atleast that’s what I feel is the figure. The Brothers own the local store in who uses my SAAS everyday.Their company however has over 35 stores across the country plus other businesses not related to my niche. And have connections to over 140 stores whom I could work with.Roughly those 140 stores do around combined $300million per year in Revenue and my company would take about a 2% cut of Revenue and also has additional income products.Giving up say 35% of my company for $200k means I roughly value it at $570k.Which to me seems under valued but also I feel I must consider the brothers potential connections.Am I on the right track or is there something I’m missing? see hubwealthy.com/wealthy
