I’m in my early 30s, I have a small business and it’s nowhere near what I wanted to have build by this time. I’m pretty sure there are others like that who used to have all those really big dreams when they were younger, but it feels like at this point in my 30s it’s more of a delusion to continue to hold on to some big dreams. It’s a known fact that it’s a terrible idea to compare yourself to others, but it’s hard not to do it when you are bombarded by articles from tech crunch and Forbes about 20-something years old building massive companies and raising hundreds of millions.
