Hi,I run a small business that's structured as a sole prop in New Jersey. We don't have any employees and I'm the only person involved with the business. One of my clients (who is paying me) is asking me to fill out a w9 form for tax purposes.I don't want to give out my social security number, so I filled out a form on the IRS website to get an EIN and put my EIN on the form instead of my SSN.Is this okay? Can I just put my EIN on the form? Or do I have to give out my SSN?Thanks! see hubwealthy.com/wealthy
