UPDATE 2: call with $60M competitor - a silly NDA for a lasting collaboration

Hi All,2 really bizarre and interesting updates!Quick recap of my post from last week. A business development person at a competitor reached out to me after my science got some press in the news. We had a conversation and they're keen to test my antimicrobial coating in their facilities to see if it meets their standards, then move from there. - That's where the last update ended.New info - they sent through an NDA, and for those who don't know, any legal docs a company sends you can reflect their legal philosophy and corporate culture. Whether they're litigious, try to screw other companies, make unreasonable demands. Etc.Anyways, I passed the NDA to my dad as he worked in corporate law for 40 years and recently retired from a big firm. His response progressed something like this:"This is the cleanest NDA I've seen in a long time""This is a really good NDA, almost exactly like mine, they're just missing one clause""Hmm, they're based in X state and we have an office there, maybe they're using our lawfirm because this NDA is identical to an old version that I wrote."So at that point I did a bit of a LinkedIn search and found that in fact this company uses my dad's old lawfirm. This almost certainly was an old version of my dad's NDA, which made it really smooth.Really bizarre coincidence but it's very reassuring. So the NDA is fully executed and I sent through all the additional experimental info to the company. And will potentially get results and thoughts from them next month. The other real bizarre/fortuitous development is that someone from this sub (clearly I won't mention their username) contacted me as they are in business development for a $10B company that is potentially interested in my tech too. It might not fit their niches perfectly but I'll have a call with them this week also. So there might be a spin-out update series for this even bigger company.Small world!I'll probably have to unload my 2 other side-hustles as this picks up steam as this project has the most potential, but gotta take it one step at a time.Happy to answer any questions. see hubwealthy.com/wealthy
