We offer marketing services to small businesses. We have about $10k in MRR and do some project work (websites ranging from $3-60k). It is becoming a distraction from our core business and I would like to sell it.It is not our primary line of business but we started selling the package to our clients two years ago after hiring a marketing manager with an agency background. The package includes SEO, social, and some ad hoc work every month. We position it as an on demand marketing team for small businesses.I am curious if someone would acquire that small of a business.Pros: we have good processes, contractors and agencies that can fill most of the work, and a good package that creates MRR, not one time revenue with a niche market, very little time spent selling and we easily found clients.Cons: some clients will almost certainly leave during the transition, will take some time to learn the systems, contractors are contractors, hard to get 100% accurate financials since it is part of larger company. This could be a good play for a solo marketer who wants to step into a relatively turnkey business or could be someone who wants to acquire a book.It is a small deal so I'm cautious about what to expect. Is this worth selling or will the time and costs outweigh the return?Would it be better to just find a company to serve the clients and send us a rev share? Seems like there would not be much return there but it would certainly be easier and faster.Any thoughts from people with experience are much appreciated! see hubwealthy.com/wealthy
